How to Earn a Major Order Reward in Helldivers 2
To earn a Major Order Reward in Helldivers 2, you should help participate in the current Major Order. The goal is typically to assault and liberate a specific planet or set of planets on either the Automaton or Terminid side of the Galaxy Map. The objectives range in scope from one planet to three or four at a time.
But you’re not alone in the fight. The entire community works toward completing a Major Order at any given time. Each time you complete a mission on one of the target planets, it counts for everyone playing the game.

When Do You Receive a Major Order Reward in Helldivers 2?
Once a Major Order is complete, you’ll typically receive your rewards by the following day, when the next Major Order objective begins. When the task switches over, you’ll receive a pop-up notification telling you the total number of Warbond Medals you earned for participating in the task. Most pay out around 40 or 50 Medals.
Why Didn’t I Receive a Major Order Reward?
There are occasions when the reward doesn’t come through despite finishing the objectives in a Major Order. I recently had this happen, where after taking part in the liberation of multiple planets, I didn’t receive the full reward. I only earned a single Warbond Medal for my efforts.
This is likely due to server issues, which, unfortunately, have been commonplace since the game’s launch. It’s unclear if or when the problem will receive a hotfix and if we’ll see the rest of the Medals earned by completing an Order.
Where to Find the Current Major Order in Helldivers 2
You can find the current Major Order in Helldivers 2 by opening the main menu and looking on the right-hand side of the screen. It’s the top box and details the objectives the community must complete along with the timeframe to finish the job.
Below the Major Order, you’ll find your Personal Order. This is unique to you, and it’s a random task designed to help you learn more of the game’s mechanics and test out different Stratagems or weapons in Helldivers 2. It’s just an additional way to earn Medals.
