Hollow Knight: Silksong Could be Imminent After Steam Page Suddenly Receives A Ton of Updates

Team Cherry has kept the gaming community in suspense for years. Hollow Knight was a breakout success, and Silksong was announced in 2019. We’ve seen and heard next to nothing about the new Metroidvania title, but Silksong’s Steam Page has been updated, suggesting a big update is forthcoming.

It’s that time of year again. Summer Game Fest 2025 is around the corner. This means everyone is speculating about every game in existence, and even games that don’t exist. One title we know is coming is Hollow Knight: Silksong—we just don’t know when.

However, it could finally be time for a big news bulletin concerning the sequel.

Hollow Knight: Silksong Steam Page News Has to be Positive

The Hollow Knight: Silksong SteamDB page has been updated recently. We know this because its “Changenumber” is new, which reflects fresh updates for a game.

As per Kami, there’s a plethora of changes to the Silksong Steam page, including Achievements being added, along with new game files, a new Steam logo, and various other changes reflected in the Changenumber update.

Not only this, but the trailer has received an age rating. These aren’t just incremental tweaks, these are wholesale updates. With Summer Game Fest right around the corner, it can surely only mean one thing, right?
