Gen.G has expanded its partnership with Korean livestreaming platform SOOP to host an LCK Roadshow later this month.
SOOP is managing the planning, marketing, production, and live operations of the Homestand event to diversify its revenue models as part of its deal with Gen.G, which lasts until 2028.
The two-day event will take place from Friday, July 31, to Saturday, August 1, in the Ilsan KINTEX Exhibition Center in Goyang, South Korea.
It will feature two major matches in Gen.G vs T1 on the first day and then Gen.G vs Dplus Kia.

House of Gen.G LCK Roadshow
Gen.G vs T1 will be a particularly exciting affair, considering it involves the two most popular teams in Korea.
In fact, last year’s MSI match between the two is still the most-watched MSI match ever.
Both matches will have meet-and-greets with the players for fans, though these have proved controversial this year.

Multiple players have received punishments for skipping fan interactions.
BNK FEARX demoted and eventually traded their star player Nam ‘Diable’ Dae-geun after he refused to attend a fan meet.
Then, in a similar instance, Bilibili Gaming toplaner Chen ‘Bin’ Ze-Bin was fined $22k for failing to high-five fans after a game.
Meanwhile, the Gen.G Homestand will also feature a tournament between SOOP’s top streamers called the ‘LoL Destruction War’.

- R: 129,000 KRW (approx. $86 USD)
- S: 109,000 KRW (approx. $72 USD)
- A: 89,000 KRW (approx. $59 USD)
