Future REPO Update Will Turn Your Cart Into an Insane Tank

Semiwork has released yet another fantastic community update for REPO, which continues taking the gaming world by storm. In the opening moments of the five-minute video, semiwork pokes fun at itself, referencing a health exploit that many leant on before it was patched in the game.

The developer’s ‘face’, Pontus Sundström, explained that the popularity of the exploit has led to changes surfacing in the game’s health mechanics and difficulty settings. It’ll be more forgiving for low-level players, and a neat feature is being introduced that’ll make it cheaper for teams to refill their health pools.

Battle Tank Time

In the latter half of the five-minute video, Pontus gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the Cart Cannon, a phenomenally powerful weapon that mounts on your cart and can be used to decimate just about anything.

Pontus unveiled the new weapons:

And now, I am happy to reveal a brand new item. A weapon, if you will. This thing will turn your cart into a battle tank.

Introducing the Cart Cannon.

The Cart Cannon is a mighty device that players will be eager to get their hands on. The tail end of the video revealed an evolution of that weapon, turning it from an explosive weapon into a laser-based one.

Pontus was quick to highlight that these additions aren’t available yet and will be introduced in a future update, but we don’t have any idea when that’ll be.

In May, the team revealed that REPO has been such a rampant success that the squad at semiwork has barely found time to sleep.

Are you still playing REPO, or are you yet to give it a shot? Let me know on the Insider Gaming forum.
