Since its announcement and first trailer, wrestling fans across the world have been waiting to get their hands on Ultra Pro Wrestling, a game that brings the gameplay and style of the wrestling games from the 90s and early 2000s into the modern era.
With Ultra Pro Wrestling, there will be a base roster of over 100 originally-designed characters from comic book artist Hal Haney.
In addition to the base roster, Ultra Pro Wrestling will offer players the chance to individually buy other characters created for the game as DLC. Each DLC character will cost a varied amount — some singles and some in packs — with money going directly to the wrestlers themselves or their family.
Recently, Ultra Pro Wrestling announced a partnership with Ohio Valley Wrestling to bring the promotion, its championships, arena, and wrestlers to the game in 2025.
Ultra Pro Wrestling is currently in development with a demo set to come later this year followed by a full release for PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
