Hi. Long Tom Sensation 😉

With the recent news of Battlefield coming in 2025 with a modern setting (set around 2027-2030), in your opinion, do you see Activision and Call of Duty trying to compete with this new Battlefield game?

If you do, which game do you think they’d put out to rival and compete with this new Battlefield? Obviously Call of Duty is a yearly game whilst Battlefield isn’t, so I don’t suppose BO6 would be competing as that game will be coming to the end of its lifecycle by time Battlefield comes out, but what about that rumoured BO2 sequel coming in 2025 (which is also rumoured to be set around the 2030s) or the next Modern Warfare game from Infinity Ward in 2026 (MW has been putting out large maps and large map modes like Ground War which i see competing with Battlefield.

Last question, do you know what SHG is cooking for their next game? Anything like Advanced Warfare 2 or another MW game or something new?

I don't get too many marketing plans, but I hope to see METRO very soon, yeah. It's in its latter stage of development.

As for Wolverine, I am not sure. The hack screwed them over big time so I would think it'll be 2026 or so.
 
Hey Tom, probably a long shot, but have you heard anything on Titanfall 3? Feel like they abandoned any thoughts on releasing it but hoping they revisit! Have a good day!

Do you have any information on the upcoming sequel to Tokyo Xanadu by Falcom? There been no new information since March so I was wondering you if you possibly knew anything.

Hey Tom! Glad you're doing this, and I'm loving the forum layout so far, great job on it!

Mostly gonna ask Fromsoft related stuff: I'm curious - why do you think Sony has refused to touch Bloodborne AT ALL so far? Any development with that game is an extremely big money opportunity but they just avoid acknowledging it it seems, and some people have suggested maybe they do a remake/remaster for PS6 - do you see this happening?

I would also be interested to know what your thoughts are regarding the murmurs of Fromsoftware's next game potentially being a Playstation-exclusive - this doesn't really make sense given Miyazaki's recent comments about making his games available to everyone and moving away from Bloodborne-esque exclusivity but is there any validity to this rumour?
Lastly - do you have any inkling of when a reveal of their next game might end up happening?

Leadership won't change and they've failed to capitilise on its initial success, so I don't think so, but never say never. The unfortunate thing is that it's a great game that needed another 6-12 months in the oven IMO, and there is there a place in the market for it, but it's simple economics. The game budget was significant from what I've heard (can't verify to the standards I need to yet), and if no one is buying skins, etc., then where does it make sense for an F2P game?

Is Popcap Games working on a new console Plant VS Zombies game?? It’s been 5 years since their last game & I find it strange that all they have going on it PVZ 3 on mobile. Are they no longer making console games?
