In the backward compatibility case, Sony is seeking for hardware running but it's too hard to do! The CPU/GPU of PlayStation 5 isn't directly designed to run the older generations' games plus there are a bunch of licensed kind of stuff to get copyright. The native execution for PS1/PS2/PS3 games are hard but possible.
In game's development case, I see a hope – where AI and ML goes to work so the devs are making their games faster by using dialogue generation, frame generation, copying repeating items etc.

CoD 2025 is still not have a lead developer.
Verdansk is set for 2026 at least when I assume a new Modern Warfare game releases.

Tomb Rider begun the development in late 2021 (potentially) so it would be the case.

2. Anything new about the upcoming handheld from Sony?

I know is too early but i wonder if in the next Battlefield game are there any middle east maps? like Strike at Karkand, Gulf of Oman, Road to Jalalabad???
is there a commander mode like the good old Battlefield 2? Air Vehicle respawn on base? and not on Air.
 
Hi Tom,

Any news on a new full title or news in general on the Command And Conquer series including a new mainline game that isn't F2P or mobile as well as any news on a new remaster, such as for Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun.

2 questions:
1: Any Info about Splinter Cell Remake.
2: Regarding BF6 or whatever it is called, do you have any info regarding the story or is it just private military and nato thing?

I also wanted to ask you about Microsoft and if u have any knowledge if any of the games in their library are coming to PS as well and hopefully does it contain Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 or 2024, been rooting for it to come at PS.

Far Cry 7 is currently in the development by the codename of Project Blackbird while Far Cry multiplayer standalone title is codenamed Maverick; Both launching in Fall 2025. Set in a tropical island and telling story of an aristocratic family in a situation that they're kidnapped by a brigand cult whose has supremacy on the region. The gameplay is limited in time and you (as player) must free all of your family members in order to 100% the game within 24h real-life and 72 hours in-game. Whereas we don't know if Ubisoft's plans are changed, there is a possibility for delaying the FC7 to 2026 due to high amount of releases in Q3/Q4 of 2025.
The next title is shifting from Dunia Engine (Far Cry 3 to Far Cry 6) to Snowdrop (Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Star Wars: Outlaws)
and aiming for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Hey Tom huge fan of yours over the years great to see how much success you have had so far proud of you man!!! I have a brief couple of questions to ask you if you don’t mind.

What do you fully expect to see happen with Call of duty 2025 in terms of modes,Gameplay,dev teams working on it and features?

Should we expect to see new and remaster zombie maps throughout its life cycle for Call of duty 2025 zombies?

Do you think Call of duty 2025 will have custom map editor for console where we can use it for multiplayer and zombies or still too early?

When should we expect to see the reveal of the rumored Xbox Handheld console and the expected release for the handheld console?

What can we expect from it in terms of features and performance for the Xbox handheld Console?

What are your expectations for the new Xbox Console coming in 2026 and what huge things have you heard that would excite gamers about it?

What are your expectations for the next Battlefield game and what big things have you heard that players should know about it?

I mean Zampella mentioned BF4 being part of the pinnacle... but honestly people have mushed up thoughts and memories and conflate BF with other games so I would be damn suprised if we had Commander mode or Aerial vehicles spawning in base on an Airfield.

That said I do wonder what the sales expectations for Battlefield are next year considering BF2042's where 11-13 million according to Tom. They should considering doing better than BFV did in a quarter as a success (which did 7.3 million release window, BF 2025 doing 8.5-10 million in the same timeframe should be seen an improvement). Then again I feel they're going to have crazy dumb sales expectations that'll fall short.

Call of Duty 'Saturn' is taking place in the near future (2025–2035) and would be including a new villain in a sequel to the Black Ops 2. On custom editor, it's far from done and yes, it will have round-based Zombies mode. The game is a continuation to Black Ops 6 in gameplay designing and follows that road, you'd expect open-world campaign missions, vehicles, aerial fighting and the game would introduces bigger maps than MWIII and BO6 while modern and futuristic weapons are also there.
For Xbox, it will be at least in 2026 and likely cloud-based rather than hardware – in case of handheld console – and reportedly is releasing
with CoD 2026.
On the Battlefield, Tom knows better than me but a free-to-play Battle Royal mode is in the development for beside massive maps to play in akin to Battlefield 2042.

Sony is currently developing PlayStation 6 with two – reportedly – SoCs in contract with AMD from 2022. Handheld console isn't in the development, SIE's core business is on PS consoles and PC.
