Fortnite’s stacked schedule is poised to get even busier with the imminent start of Fortnitemares, and that’s set to be followed by another major collab.
The final season of Chapter 7 kicks off in November, following the conclusion of Fortnitemares, and is set to be a mini-season, similar to last year’s huge collab with The Simpsons.
Previous leaks have indicated that the major collab poised to bring down the curtain on Chapter 7 in Fortnite will be One Piece, and now it’s been added that fans can expect a ‘very big event’.
One Piece Set For ‘Very Big Event’ in Fortnite
The latest comments come from reliable leaker ShiinaBR, following on from previous leaks that One Piece is set to be the focus, with it stated that the collab will be a “very big event.”
The post, which cites SamLeakss and SpushFNBR as providing more details, indicates the collab season will likely kick off in 39 days, tying into the November 1 start date that has previously been reported.
Recent Rocket League leaks, another Epic Games title, have added further credibility to the One Piece leaks, and while it may be a while until there’s official confirmation of the collab event, it’s looking increasingly likely to be the focus.
Fortnite shifted to a mini-season approach last year in Chapter 6, with a Star Wars mini-season and the aforementioned collab with The Simpsons, and it’s starting to look like a major collab-based mini-season will be used to bring an end to future Fortnite Chapters.
Chapter 7 is set to end in early December, with a One Piece-focused mini-season lasting for a month before the launch of Chapter 8.
