The next entry into the Fire Emblem franchise has its official release date, as Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave will launch on September 17.
The announcement came during the latest Nintendo Direct, with the game originally unveiled back in September last year. Details have been fairly sparse until now, but the latest trailer has finally lifted the curtain.
More Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Details
Aside from the release date, the latest trailer gave us a solid look at gameplay for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. As you’d imagine, it shares the same foundation as other games in the franchise, with it being a tactical, turn-based RPG, though there is 3D exploration outside of combat arenas.
And you’ll be facing plenty of arenas this time around, with the narrative revolving around the Heroic Games. There’s a serious prize on the line, but how willing will you be to rise above the rest and claim it for yourself?
