Persona 6 Could Be Scheduled For 2027, It’s Claimed

Persona 6 was finally unveiled during the XBOX Games Showcase, though what we saw was only a short teaser for the upcoming sequel. It was enough to get fans excited for the future of the franchise, but little else was shared regarding gameplay or its release window.

That said, a reliable leaker for Atlus and SEGA-related content has suggested that, despite the lack of a launch window in the trailer, Persona 6 could very much be on track to release in 2027, even though Persona 4 Revival is also scheduled for the same year.

2027 Could Be The Year Of Persona

The rumors come from user lolilolailo on resetera, who shared in a post:

Don’t read too much on the teaser not having 2027 in it, especially considering P4R is launching before.

Persona 4 Revival is set to launch on February 18, 2027, and with the lack of a release window in the Persona 6 trailer, it led many fans to suspect that Persona 4 Revival will be the focus of 2027, with Persona 6 still a ways away.

Of course, judging by lolilolailo’s claim, that could very well not be the case, and we could instead see another year like 2024, where Atlus released Persona 3 Reload in February, and Metaphor: ReFantazio in October. Could the same pattern be followed, with Persona 4 Revival in February, and Persona 6 late 2027?

Prior Persona 6 leaks would certainly align with this theory. SEGA issued DMCA takedowns to numerous Persona 6 leaks ahead of the big reveal, with the logo and other images spilling onto the internet.

Alongside those, a September 2027 release window was revealed, and with the leaked logo now confirmed to be correct, there are reasonable expectations that Persona 6 could very well be 2027-bound. Perhaps the lack of a date was to give Persona 4 Revival its time in the spotlight, as Persona 6 is bound to steal the show eventually.
