Get Your Tackle Out – Fallout 76 Gone Fission Arrives June 3

Fallout 76 fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Season 21, which introduces fishing to Appalachia. The super-sized update arrives on June 3, bringing the long-awaited feature to the popular post-apocalyptic MMORPG.

The full spread for Season 21: Gone Fission was revealed recently by Bethesda Game Studios with a new trailer, which you can see below. As you can expect, the entire season, including any rewards, events, and Atomic Shop bundles, is themed almost exclusively around fishing.

Exciting times ahead.

Put Your Waders On

Fallout 76: Gone Fission arrives with Season 21 on June 3. It’s hard to believe that this once-failed MMORPG is still going strong after all these years, but here we are. I was a huge fan of the game for the longest time, but the endgame loop ran a little dry for me, and I’ve since moved on to greener pastures – but Season 21 might just bring me back.

Here’s the new trailer for Season 21 that advertises this monumental fishing-themed update:

I’m surprised it took Bethesda Game Studios this long to add fishing to the game. It seems like such a standard inclusion in open-world titles these days, especially so in RPG games.

The trailer above showcases all the new C.A.M.P. items coming to Fallout 76 next month when Gone Fission arrives, including a literal Houseboat, stacks of fishing-themed furniture and items, and everything else you need to make the perfect spot from which to cast out and see what you can reel in.

Gone Fission introduces a new C.A.M.P. Ally, Survival Tent (Fallout 1st), and just about everything you’d expect from an update that includes fishing. That means you can get a rod and customise it with a range of bobbers, bait, and so on.
