Fallout 76 Developers Tease Collaboration with Amazon Prime Series

Fallout 76’s developers have teased a collaboration with the Amazon Prime Series, stating that “the two teams do talk to one another”.

Jon Rush, the creative director for Fallout 76, recently hinted at a crossover with the Amazon Prime series during an interview with Variety. Rush first discussed the ‘distinct trait’ of the game, highlighting that it is set the ‘furthest back in time.’ In contrast, the Amazon Prime adaptation is set “the furthest into the future.” This allows both properties to not overlap with each other; at the same time, some things could overlap, but the developers try to keep those “pretty simple”.

Fallout 76 and Amazon Prime Series Teams Speak to One Another

Rush adds that both the show and the game are “made by folks that are big fans of the game and the series”, which allows them to go together very well, which is also why many of the audience members flock back to games like Fallout 76, Fallout 4, or Fallout 3 after watching the series.

The creative director explains that Fallout 76’s team and the Amazon Prime series teams regularly talk about “lining things up with the seasonal releases of the show”. Rush reveals that the teams “do have plans for things here and there”, but he won’t go into details. However, players should know that both teams “do talk to one another”.

In other news, a new claim has been made stating that multiple Fallout projects are in development. Also, the most popular title in the franchise has surpassed 230 million downloads.
