An insider has claimed that Fallout 3 Remastered won’t be coming out anytime soon; however, it is in the plans.
As spotted by The Gamer, NateTheHate2 was asked recently on X (formerly Twitter) whether Fallout 3 Remastered was still in the works. Nate replied, stating that “it’ll be a while before we see it”, but didn’t deny its existence. Another user asked whether it is “still happening”, to which Nate replied, stating it is “planned but won’t be for a while”.
Rumours about the Fallout 3 Remastered title have been going around since we heard about Oblivion Remastered. However, the latter just got a lot more real when screenshots of the rumoured title surfaced online. The screenshots provided side-by-side comparisons with the original title and even revealed information about platforms and Deluxe editions. Both games were leaked during the FTC vs Microsoft trial, so many are now interested in the existence of a Fallout 3 Remastered, too.
Fallout 3 was released in 2008, and the title changed the Bethesda franchise forever. It was the first 3D open-world title for the series, previous games featured a 2D isometric perspective. It was also the first game to introduce real-time combat. Players would love to see a revamped version of this age-old classic, and with all of its expansions, it will be a treat for all the fans of the franchise. However, there is no official word from Bethesda about the remaster’s existence, so players should take this information with a grain of salt.
In other news, Fallout 76’s fishing update is now available on the Public Test Server. Also, Fallout 76’s new update will let you play as a Ghoul.
