Week 3 of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 is about to come to a close with finals in EA Sports FC 26, PUBG Battlegrounds, and Teamfight Tactics.
Plus, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Mid-Season Cup is continuing, as Team Vitality defeated Falcons in a win with huge Club Championship repercussions.
The weekend will see teams claim millions in prize money and claim more crucial Club Championship points.
Then, next week, the event will reach the halfway point with EWC Week 4 with Overwatch and Call of Duty: Warzone action.
EA FC Pro 26 World Championship
EA FC 26’s FC Pro World Championship was delayed to the weekend following PlayStation outages, leading to a packed weekend of games.
The end of the League Stage was eventually postponed to Saturday, adding extra games this weekend onto the Knockouts.
The eventual winner will be crowned the world champion of EA FC 26 and claim a lion’s share of the $1.5 million tournament.
Currently, Levy ‘levyfinn’ Rieck and Matías ‘Bonanno’ Bonanno have won all of their matches and are top of the standings.
Meanwhile, two of the tournament favourites, Anders ‘Vejrgang’ Vejrgang and Emre Yilmaz, clashed in a 15-goal thriller ending 8-7 in favour of the latter.
The grand final is set to take place on Sunday, July 26 at 2:00 PM CEST.
TFT EWC
Last year’s TFT EWC champions, Weibo Gaming, have been eliminated as competition heats up for the 500k tournament.
Unlike other TFT events, EWC features a unique team-based format with groups of four representing their teams.
Now, just four teams remain in Flash Wolves, Team Vision, Aurora Gaming, and AG.AL.
The semi-finals and grand final will take place on Saturday, July 25.
PUBG Battlegrounds EWC
Finally, the PUBG EWC finals will take place on Sunday, 26 July at 2 PM CEST.
Just 16 teams remain in the $2 million+ tournament with the finals stretching across three days in total.
On the third day of the finals, teams will compete to hit the Match Point target, and once they do will only need to win one more match to claim the title.
As we saw with another battle royale in Apex Legends, the final day is always frantic, with multiple teams often fighting it out for that one last victory.
In the Group Stages, Made in Thailand led the pack with 119 points and T1 close behind on 110.
However, everything was reset for the finals, and after six matches so far, Virtus.Pro are currently well in the lead with 91 points.
