Section 9 Interactive has revealed at Summer Game Fest 2026 that End of Abyss will release in October of this year.
End of Abyss is a single-player action-adventure developed by Section 9 Interactive and published by Epic Games. The developers have finally confirmed a release date for the title: End of Abyss arrives on October 1, 2026. Interested readers can pre-order the game now on XBOX Series X/S and PC.
About End of Abyss
“End of Abyss” is a game that puts you in the role of a combat technician named Cel. As you explore the derelict areas of a mysterious underground facility, you will gradually uncover the secrets of its origins while battling some of the most dangerous monsters. Players must investigate disturbances of unknown origin that spiral deeper into an abandoned world as they navigate the compound.
The journey will require players to upgrade their gear and adapt to the environment as they progress. There are various branching paths and hidden areas that can be revealed using your Scanner and other tools. These pathways will become accessible once players gain more power, allowing them to revisit forgotten corridors and uncover secrets that were previously sealed away.
