During the 2026 Summer Games Fest presentation, it was announced that Platinum Games, the studio known for Bayonetta and Ninja Garden, would be working on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin. No announcement date or year was shown in the announcement teaser trailer.
Paramount Games’ formation was announced earlier that afternoon on June 5, and this is the studio’s first game in development.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Video Game History
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been one of the most heavily featured intellectual properties in video games. They have tackled almost every video game genre, and as the turtles have evolved, they’ve had a video game representation to match. Most are fond of the classic Konami arcade game, but in recent years there have been games such as Splintered Fate and Shredder’s Revenge.
The latter is a tribute to the classic arcade game. Still, there have been one-on-one fighting games, Super Smash Bros. clones, Prince of Persia clones, and more. Through it all, the turtles remain radical.
