The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered was the best-selling game in the United States (US) for April 2025.
According to the latest sales data from Circana, Oblivion Remastered performed strong enough to knock off March’s top-selling game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, from its place on the list. Coming in second behind the Oblivion remaster was Forza Horizon 5, which made its debut on PlayStation 5 (PS5). That was followed by MLB The Show 25, Minecraft, and Assassin’s Creed Shadows in 3rd-5th, respectively.
Of the games to make the Top 20 for the month, only the Oblivion remaster is a new release. That said, games like Forza Horizon 5, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, The Last of Us: Part 2, The Elder Scrolls: Online, and Hogwarts Legacy all jump into the best-selling list after being on the outside looking in.

As mentioned, Forza Horizon 5 jumped to the top 5 after releasing on PS5. The same can be said for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle as it also made its PS5 debut in April. Games like Minecraft and The Last of Us: Part 2 moving up the list can be attributed to the movie and show for both games.
