Elden Ring Nightreign players have finally had their prayers answered, as the developers have confirmed that a duos mode is on the way.
Elden Ring Nightreign Duo Expeditions Coming Soon
Elden Ring Nightreign has just celebrated an incredible milestone, reaching 3.5 million players within the first few days of release. On the same announcement post, the developers stated that the journey is not over, with a DLC coming later this year, along with improvements, enhanced fights and new additions being gradually implemented starting this month. Moreover, a ‘Duo Expeditions’ mode has been confirmed for “a later date”.
Elden Ring Nightreign was released with only two multiplayer options: solos and trios. Since release, players have been requesting the developers to add a third option, a duos mode. The developers recently explained that the ‘duos aspect’ was something that was “neglected” and “overlooked during development.” However, this was something they were considering as a “post-launch feature.” Now with the confirmation, players will be hoping they receive a release window soon.
Duos mode will be an excellent addition for players having a hard time playing Elden Ring Nightreign solo; two heads are always better than one. There are also times when you don’t get enough players during matchmaking or not enough friends to fill up the three-person party. At that time, the duos mode will provide more accessibility and flexibility to players.
