EA Sports FC 26 Reportedly Peaked at Nearly 10 Million Daily Active Users Recently

According to a new video from an FC YouTuber, EA Sports FC 26 had 9.8 million peak daily active users last month.

The next installment has arrived for one of the most popular video game series on the market, and EA Sports FC 27 is all set to release on September 25, 2026. However, even with the announcement of the next installment, the current installment is still performing strongly, bringing in millions of players daily across multiple platforms.

EA Sports FC 26 Peaked at 9.8 Million Last Month, Mainly Console Players

Spotted by Eurogamer, the details about EA Sports FC 26 almost hitting the 10 million mark in daily active users last month come from a recent YouTube video by ‘TheFutAccountant’. In this video, he first discusses the game’s Steam numbers, which are just over 100,000. He then provides some exclusive numbers, including his conversation with one of the game’s devs.

TheFutAccountant reveals that when he spoke about the Steam numbers with the developer, he laughed and told the YouTuber that “9.8 million daily active users was the peak number that was hit in this last month”. The YouTuber isn’t sure whether the peak was in July or late June.

The YouTuber explains that there is a larger player base on console than on PC, and that Steam isn’t the only place players can play on PC; there’s also the EA app. There were also 800,000 live players at one point in Pro Clubs. There’s one major reason that could have contributed to this peak: the World Cup. Another big reason could be that it was available on both PlayStation Plus and Game Pass.

However, players should note that these claims are based on what the EA dev shared with TheFutAccountant; Insider Gaming hasn’t been able to independently verify these numbers.
