Duskbloods Network Test Announced for August 2026

A new announcement from The Duskbloods devs reveals that a network test is scheduled for August 21 to 23, 2026.

Players have been eagerly awaiting updates on FromSoftware’s Switch 2 exclusive, The Duskbloods, since the game was announced. Now, the developers are giving a select group of players the opportunity to try out the game and test its PvPvE multiplayer features before its official release.

Duskbloods Network Test Details: Application Period, Testing Criteria, Gameplay Features, and More

As announced on the website, the Duskbloods network test will be hosted from August 21 to August 23, 2026. There is an application period, and all participants need to submit their applications between July 22 at 7:00 a.m. PDT and July 28 at 6:59 a.m. PDT. Moreover, to be eligible to apply for and participate in the network test, players need a Switch 2 with an active Nintendo Switch Online membership.

In the upcoming network test, the developers want to test several aspects of the game. First and foremost, bring in a large number of players simultaneously to “verify gameplay while putting a load on the game server.” Next, they want to test the different issues that could arise when multiple players are playing together in different network environments, along with other phenomena that could occur. Lastly, the devs also want to see how well the game is balanced.

Regarding the gameplay features for the Duskbloods network test, players will be able to participate in multiplayer matches that allow up to 8 players in the game. However, the developers have informed players that the game is still in development and ask for their understanding of any bugs that may surface during gameplay.
