Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 New Trailer Provides First Look at Gameplay

A brand new gameplay trailer has arrived for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, providing players with a first look at West City, all the different moves players can pull off, the new features, and more.

Players have been waiting for the first look at the title’s gameplay ever since Bandai Namco confirmed that Dragon Ball Age 1000 was indeed Xenoverse 3. We already know that the title is going to arrive for PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC via Steam in 2027, and now players know what to expect.

The new gameplay trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 begins with Shenron’s voice inviting players to embark on an exciting new adventure. The trailer showcases West City, highlighting various characters players will interact with, the stunning cityscapes, and the locations available for exploration. Additionally, we dive straight into gameplay, offering players their first glimpse of the intense combat they will experience.

Players also gain a basic understanding of the narrative, which reveals that they will need to enroll in a school to learn the necessary skills. There, they will encounter additional characters who will play significant roles in the story. As part of a squad, players will embark on missions and can take on enemies with their team’s help. The storyline definitely appears to be original.

The gameplay trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 introduces an exciting new feature. Players can now push a blue flame inside their character to summon their inner Trunks, gaining the ability to perform all of Trunks’s signature moves. Additionally, the trailer reveals that players can summon their inner Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, Vegeta, and more, allowing them to use these characters’ signature moves.

Towards the end of the video, players get a brief look at the transformations, featuring the player character’s ability to become Super Saiyan, use Kaioken, and more. You can check out the new gameplay trailer for Xenoverse 3 below:
