Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Roadmap Revealed Through Summer 2027

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero developers have released a new content roadmap through summer 2027 for the game’s second anniversary.

Bandai Namco released Dragon Ball Sparking Zero in 2024, the latest installment in their iconic Budokai Tenkaichi series. The game launched with 180 fighters, and the developers have added many more since then, along with new game modes and other content. It seems that players have even more to look forward to, with free updates coming this year and next.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Future Roadmap Details Revealed

A new post by the official Dragon Ball X (formerly Twitter) account provides players with the future roadmap for Sparking Zero, featuring content for 2026 and 2027, across PS5, XBOX Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC. Players will look forward to free content updates, along with some paid DLC.

Sparking Zero PS5, XBOX Series X/S, and PC Roadmap

PS5, XBOX Series X/S, and PC have the same release schedule, with the first Legendary Warrior Face-off event featuring Gogeta (Super) arriving in fall 2026. This will be followed by a free update in winter 2026 that will add Tower of Power (Solo). Tower of Power will have players facing increasingly powerful opponents as they proceed through the floors, and conquering this Tower of Power will grant players a special customization item that enhances the visual effects of their Ki Charge Aura.

Then these Sparking Zero platforms will receive Tower of Power (Team Up), Mission 100 SP, and Survival Mode SP as a free update in Spring 2027. Mission 100 SP and Survival Mode SP are described as “enhanced versions of existing missions and battles, designed for characters that have been trained through the Limit Breaker Journey.” Lastly, a cross-play beta test and a paid DLC featuring a new playable character arrive in Summer 2027.

Sparking Zero Switch 2 Roadmap

Switch 2 will follow a different roadmap from the other platforms, with a Legendary Warrior Face-off event featuring Frieza (Super) in fall 2026, followed by Mission 100 and Survival Mode as free updates in Spring 2027. Players can also grab the paid Super Limit-Breaking NEO DLC in spring of next year. Lastly, in Summer 2027, Switch 2 Sparking Zero players can enjoy Tower of Power (solo and team-up), Mission 100 SP, and Survival Mode SP.
