Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 Gets A New Gameplay Trailer

In less than a month, players have received a new gameplay trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.

The next installment of one of the most popular Dragon Ball game series has been announced: Xenoverse 3. This game will take players to a brand new world created by Akira Toriyama, set in Age 1000. As we wait for the 2027 release, players have already seen one gameplay trailer, and the latest offers more details on various skills and abilities.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 New Gameplay Trailer Takes Players Through All The New Possibilities

Character, Personal Space and Online Hub

The latest gameplay trailer for Xenoverse 3 starts by showcasing the player character and his cluttered personal space, which eventually becomes functional. From then on, players can decorate the area, arrange furniture, and even customize their character’s appearance. Players then get a brief glimpse of West City, the latest online hub, before starting a mission with Gamma 1.

Xenoverse 3 Mission Gameplay

The new mission takes players to a Glacier area, where they face a familiar enemy, members of the Frieza force. Players will take on this mission with three other squad members and, as a party, fight enemies in various combat encounters before reaching the main boss.

HUD, Super Attacks, Ultimate Attacks and KI

We also get a look at the HUD, which shows your and the squad members’ health; you also have options to combine rush and heavy attacks to create combos. However, keep in mind that moves and combos vary by battle style; moves will differ between a Saiyan and an Earthling. There are also HUD trackers for Super Attacks, Ultimate Attacks, Soul Assists, and Soul Switch.

There was also some information about Super Attacks, Ultimate Attacks, and Ki Breaks, which was similar to the previous game, but you will get a better idea by watching the new Xenoverse 3 gameplay trailer. We then get to see a final clash with the mission boss, none other than Dragon Ball Super’s Broly.

Soul Assist, Soul Switch and Awakening Gameplay in Xenoverse 3

Then we see the new abilities in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 Gameplay trailer, the first of which is Soul Assist. Activating this ability will summon a Dragon Ball character who can support you directly in battle; in the trailer, Trunks was introduced.

We also got to see Xenoverse 3’s Soul Switch, which can be activated once the potential meter is full. Using this ability will allow players to switch to a Dragon Ball character of their choice. It gives you an edge in battle with faster super attack cooldowns and character-specific moves.

An alternative move that we have seen in previous games is Awakening. This move essentially allows the character to transform into a more powerful form based on their race, like a Saiyan can turn Super Saiyan. It will also provide bonuses and added power for a limited time.
