Battlestate Games has just revealed the full spread of modifiers for Escape from Tarkov’s first ‘season’, which is set to start this month. The incoming update is called Kord Breach, and it’s themed around the Black Division faction that has been dominating ICEBREAKER since the new map was added last month.
In the sweep of modifiers available, which are split between global, positive, and negative tweaks, there’s one telling ‘perk’ that is rather suggestive. Reading between the lines, it seems to tell us that we’re having some behind-the-scenes relations with Therapist, the game’s only female character.
Is Therapist Your Girlfriend Now?
In the ‘Personal Negative’ modifiers for the first Escape from Tarkov season, players can choose to bolt on the ‘Third Leg’ modifier. The description for this is as follows:
- Movement speed is decreased by 1%
- Buying items at Therapist is 5% cheaper
It’ll cost just one point to have this modifier, which means it’s a super sweet deal that barely feels like a negative.
But we need to look a little deeper at this one.
Our movement speed will be reduced by 1% overall, we’re suddenly getting a nice discount from the game’s female trader, and the modifier is named Third Leg. That’s enough for us to assume that our PMC is giving something special to Therapist when we’re not looking.
Either that, or she’s clocked something and massively approves.
Like The Goons, there’s something related to a Big Pipe here.
People often ask when female PMCs are coming to Escape from Tarkov, and that’s probably never going to happen. Unfortunately, that’s because as soon as female character models are added, folks will start asking when sex is being added to Escape from Tarkov.
Therapist, the lovely older lady with a penchant for medicine, hasn’t managed to escape that concept.
