Following the hunger for the genre after the release of Baldur’s Gate 3, we desperately need a big-name RPG to hit digital storefronts and sweep people off their feet. We might have that on the horizon with Dragon Age: The Veilguard, but only time will tell. For now, will we see Dragon Age: The Veilguard at Summer Game Fest?
Is Dragon Age The Veilguard Coming to Summer Game Fest?
Previously, we heard about a Dragon Age: Dreadwolf reveal in the Summer of 2024, indicating a Summer Game Fest showing. However, with the recent name change to Dragon Age: The Veilguard, we know for a fact that we’ll see a full reveal on June 11. That is, of course, following the conclusion of Summer Game Fest, which ends on June 10. It appears EA wants the spotlight to themselves, so they’re waiting until the show’s end.

Do We Know When Dragon Age The Veilguard Releases?
While the title of the upcoming RPG may have changed, the release window has not shifted. We previously reported on the game launching by March 2025. That’s still the most likely case, though we still have months to go.
Personally, I’m hoping for a fall or winter 2024 release, something I can play over an extended winter vacation. However, it appears early 2025 is the most likely timeframe we have!
