Elden Ring Nightreign isn’t a typical Souls experience. Games in the genre are single-player focused and long, intense campaigns, but Nightreign embraces multiplayer, and if you want to play with your friends sooner with Early Access, we’ve got all you need to know.
Elden Ring Nightreign is still a surprising announcement to me. It came out of the blue, but it was a welcome surprise, and a mini-From Software battle royale, almost roguelike experience is so widely different that it could work. Having Bandai Namco on board adds an extra edge to the gameplay—and players are also wondering if you can play Solo or with just two players.
With various editions on offer, the Early Access conversation naturally comes up, tarnished.
Can You Play Elden Ring Nightreign Early Access?

Elden Ring Nightreign doesn’t have an Early Access incentive, meaning the world needs to wait for the May 30 release date.
I’ve been through all Elden Ring editions to hunt for information: Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, Seeker’s Edition, and Collector’s Edition. From the cheapest to the most expensive edition, there is no Early Access bonus mentioned.
Upgraded versions come with extravagant bonuses like future DLC and fun digital bonuses. But none of them disclose “Early Access,” so you’ll have to wait until launch if you’re keen to survive the nights.
Can You Play Elden Ring Nightreign Early With a Demo?
There is no Elden Ring Nightreign demo, and the only chance players have had to play Nightreign was the Closed Network Test.
The Nightreign network test allowed a limited number of users to test the game. It featured a decent amount of content and allowed you to learn the fundamentals of the game before trying to beat the night. It did experience some technical issues early on, but they were soon remedied.
There’s no prerelease demo and no further testing. Like the Early Access question, you need to wait until the release date to finally get your hands on Elden Ring Nightreign.
There’s easily a world where FromSoftware and Bandai Namco could’ve had Early Access to Elden Ring Nightreign. The popularity of Elden Ring would warrant demand, so this is refreshing.
