Discord has announced new perks for Nitro members, including monthly access to Xbox Game Pass and discounted products from SteelSeries and Logitech.
Nitro Rewards are the latest perk added to the Nitro service on Discord, first introduced a decade ago, and will “support the entire gaming lifestyle,” including the gear used, what they play, and more.
Among the highlights is access to the starter edition of Game Pass at no extra cost, providing access to over 50 games, including Fallout 4, Stardew Valley, and Day Z across PC and Xbox.
Discord Introduces Nitro Rewards
The addition of Game Pass Starter membership also includes 10 hours of cloud gaming a month, allowing players to stream on more devices, and includes the ability to earn up to $25 a year in the Xbox Store with Rewards.
Additionally, Nitro members will receive exclusive discounts from SteelSeries and Logitech, with 30% off at Logitech G, 15% off SteelSeries, and 20% off KontrolFreek, with new offers rotating regularly.
Nitro members will also receive 250 Orbs automatically each month, plus a boost to Orbs obtained, resulting in 20% more Orbs when completing Quests.
Speaking about the new perks, Lu Zhang, senior directed or product at Discord, said: “As Nitro reaches its 10-year anniversary, we want to mark the milestone with something that genuinely moves the needle for our members.
“Nitro Rewards is about giving Nitro members the benefits that reflect how they actually spend their time as players, beyond Discord and into the rest of their gaming lives. Having Xbox on board as a flagship partner, alongside Logitech and SteelSeries, is a strong signal of what this program can offer, and we’ll continue to look for opportunities to add more benefits as we grow.”
Additional perks could come at a later date, with the announcement promising “more to come” as Discord will “continue growing the program with the goal of making Nitro the must-have gaming membership.”
