Konami has confirmed that a Delta Force x Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater collaboration is on the way.
Just this month, Delta Force confirmed its season 10 update, War Ablaze, which will introduce a new map, Operator, vehicles, and a new collaboration. Now, it has been confirmed that a new collaboration is on the way as well, and it will introduce everyone’s beloved Naked Snake to the game.
Play as Naked Snake in Delta Force Soon
An official post on X (formerly Twitter) by Konami confirms the upcoming collaboration between Delta Force and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The post states that players will be able to “Stealthily take down enemies as Naked Snake in Delta Force” soon. However, no other concrete details, such as the release date or the content to be included, were revealed. Konami has stated that more information will be revealed later.
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, has had a very successful launch. The developers confirmed that the title sold over 1 million copies in just two days. On the other hand, Delta Force has been experiencing a successful month as well. Earlier this month, Team Jade’s free-to-play, team-based FPS title hit a new all-time concurrent player count on Steam, reaching 213,519 players. This makes it an ideal opportunity for both games to collaborate.
In other news, Konami has asked fans which Metal Gear game they want remade after Snake Eater. Additionally, the Delta Force Black Hawk Down campaign doesn’t have co-op on console.
