Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Leaks Online at $34.99

The Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC has leaked online ahead of today’s speculated Summer Game Fest announcement.

UPDATE – Dataminer billbil-kun has revealed that the edition will be announced at the Xbox Showcase for 29,99€ // 29.99$ // 24.99£.

According to GOG, the Phantom Liberty DLC will cost 29.99 euros, which is equivalent to £29.99 or around $34.99. Despite the listing only being up for a short while, pictures of the DLC have already begun circulating (via Reddit user thebuffel).

Unfortunately, though, the leaked listing did not contain any details on what the expansion entails, or when it will release. CD Projekt Red will be at today’s Summer Game Fest though, and it’s widely believed that the DLC will make an appearance.

Previous rumors have suggested the Phantom Liberty DLC could be released as soon as August 2023. In terms of what platforms the upcoming Cyberpunk expansion will release on, CD Projekt Red is only planning for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X versions.

Earlier this week, new details on the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, codenamed Orion were released. Per the report, it will be developed in the United States with a team of “350-500 developers” while the Polish team will assist in some areas.

The team of developers currently working on Phantom Liberty will move over to the next game after their work is completed. That said, some of those developers will move on to work on The Witcher franchise instead.

  • I enjoyed the game and had only 1 buggy issue on my series X. Got it launch day. That being said I’ve been done with this game for a while now and it might be too little too late to draw people back in. $35 sounds like a lot for an expansion unless it’s a standalone expansion. Too many other options out there.

  • Game prices, like other products, don’t follow the currency exchange rate.

CP2077 is 59.99 EUR and it’s 59.99 USD, so chances are the DLC will be 29.99 USD, too.

    (and FIY, 1 GBP = 1.165 EUR)
