Crimson Desert, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and several others will be able to utilise PS5 Pro’s upgraded PSSR.
Sony revealed they are rolling out an upgraded version of the PS5 Pro’s upscaling tech, PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution), soon, with Resident Evil Requiem being the first game to use it. Then they added Control and Alan Wake 2 to the list, and now more games have made it to the list.
Full List of Games That Will Use PS5 Pro’s Upgraded PSSR
A new PlayStation blog post reveals that several games, including Crimson Desert, will soon be able to use the PS5 Pro’s upgraded PSSR. Several of their partners, including Konami Digital Entertainment, Electronic Arts, Remedy Entertainment, Ninja Theory, Square Enix, Koei Tecmo Games, Capcom, and more. Check out the full list of all the games that will be using upgraded PSSR in the near future below:
- Silent Hill 2
- Silent Hill f
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard
- Control
- Alan Wake 2
- Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2
- Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
- Nioh 3
- Rise of the Ronin
- Monster Hunter Wilds
- Dragon’s Dogma 2
- Crimson Desert
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Most of the games will receive the upgraded PSSR via a PS5 system software update that will roll out in phases starting March 16 at 10:00 PM Pacific Time and will gradually become available to all users. Crimson Desert will get it at launch on March 19, and games like Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Cyberpunk 2077 will get it in the coming weeks.
