Canceled Transformers Game’s ‘Final Trailer’ Surfaces Online

Someone has posted the ‘final trailer’ for Transformers Reactivate, a title that was canceled last year.

For those unaware, Transformers Reactivate is a title that was canceled in January 2025, with Splash Damage announcing that they will be moving their focus to other projects. Shortly after the cancellation, players saw a full-fledged gameplay leak of the canceled title online, and now we have received what may have been its final trailer.

Canceled Transformers Reactivate’s Trailer Shows Combat and Driving Gameplay, New York, and Cybertron

Spotted by IGN, Transformers Reactivate’s ‘final trailer’ has been posted by EnderGuyZV2 on X (formerly Twitter). The video begins with a disclaimer revealing that this was meant to be an internal trailer that had music in it and was released three months prior to its cancellation, which could mean that this was being used to pitch to other investors but failed to bring anyone in.

It also states that during the time this trailer was developed, Transformers Reactivate was being developed as a AAA title with a $70 price for over a year and had left its free-to-play live-service roots. Instead, players would get a full story campaign that was playable solo or with online co-op.

The Transformers Reactivate Final trailer begins with Optimus Prime landing in New York City, fending off the Legion while showcasing ranged and melee gameplay. Players also get to see some driving gameplay in the Nevada desert and Cybertron. Players also get to see some Decepticon gameplay.
