The latest Call of Duty: Warzone update scales Juggernaut health by squad size, buffs HKD tracking, and fixes Quick Fix, Gunsmith, and challenge bugs.
The latest patch went live on Wednesday, August 12, and Raven Software published full patch notes on the Call of Duty website. More details from the patch notes are available below.
Call of Duty: Warzone Patch Notes Detail Solo Juggernaut Health Nerf

Regarding Juggernaut Health adjustments, they are now scaled by size, with health being cut based on the size of your squad. If your team is a full four-person team, the Juggernaut health remains unchanged. Duos now have 70% health, and solo juggernauts have had their health cut by 50%.
Previously, Juggernaut health remained the same across all squad sizes, making the Public Event disproportionately difficult for smaller teams. With this update, Juggernaut health now scales based on the mode’s squad size to provide a more consistent experience across Solos, Duos, and Quads. We have further updates planned for Juggernauts as we continue to monitor feedback and data.
Regarding killstreaks, the HKD has been adjusted to improve its overall effectiveness. These changes increase the ability to locate players while giving opponents more opportunities to counter through EMP effects or by avoiding the timeout explosion.
- Reduced explosion damage when timing out from 220 to 60.
- Increased HKD target search radius from 38 meters to 55 meters.
- Increased the timeout duration from 10 seconds to 16 seconds.
- Increased the number of HDKs that need to blow up before another HKD killstreak can be called in from 1 to 2.
- EMP grenades now affect HKDs tracking behavior.
Additional general bug fixes can be seen in the full patch notes.
