Players who want to dive into DMZ in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be able to do so earlier than other parts of the game.
Activision has announced that Modern Warfare 4: DMZ will release in Early Access on October 20. That’s three days prior to the October 23 launch of the full game.
Campaign early access is still days earlier, on October 16.
Pre-order For DMZ Early Access
In order to get early access to the new DMZ, players simply have to pre-order or pre-purchase Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. It doesn’t matter what version of the game or platform. All players are eligible.
DMZ is Call of Duty’s extraction shooter mode that’s returning after first appearing in 2022.
“You’re free to explore, engage AI forces and rival Operators, loot valuable items, craft gear, and complete objectives— all while keeping your eye on the final exfil, extracting with your rewards at the end of each deployment. How you approach each deployment, within a squad or acting alone, is entirely up to you,” Activision says.
