Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will see the return of the popular Zombies mode.
The confirmation comes via the “unknown caller” number that Activision has posted for players to text to get information about the upcoming Modern Warfare 3 reveal event.
Should you text the number +1 (202) 918-3022 with the message “Zombies”, you will receive the audio that you can listen to below as a response.
Zombies took a year off when it wasn’t a part of Modern Warfare 2. Instead, the game focused more on the DMZ mode as well as various co-op missions alongside Warzone and the traditional multiplayer offerings.

“Did someone say Zombies?,” Activision posted after the audio became public. “More information coming soon on the new Modern Warfare® Zombies: The largest Zombies offering to date.”
A quick note, though. If you planning on texting the number, know that it is a US-based number. So, be warned if you plan on texting from outside of the area. If you do plan on still texting the number, simply text “Ready” to get started with the game’s marketing messaging.
You can opt-out at any time by sending “Stop”.
