PlayStation brought out a ton of popular anniversary items to celebrate its 30th birthday, and, following continued demand, fresh restocks are on the way—including the PlayStation 5 30th Anniversary Controller.
Three decades of the Sony console have created thousands of happy memories for fans worldwide, and the 30th Anniversary Controllers are the perfect nostalgia items as they replicate the look of the original PlayStation controllers. Unsurprisingly, this has made them extremely popular.
If you missed out the first time around, new stock is coming and pre-orders are right around the corner, and we’ve got all the details you need.
Is the PlayStation 5 30th Anniversary Controller in Stock?

No, the PlayStation 5 30th Anniversary Controller is not currently in stock with any retailer, with pre-orders quickly selling out earlier this year.
That hasn’t closed the door completely on getting your hands on the controller without delving into the secondary market, however, as a limited restock has been announced in several regions worldwide—including Canada, the UK, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia.
Currently, no restock has been announced for the United States, but Wario64 spotted a now-deleted post on social media suggesting a restock is coming.

Where to Buy the PlayStation 5 30th Anniversary Controller
The best place to pre-order and purchase the PlayStation 5 30th Anniversary Controller is directly through PlayStation, though other storefronts are available.
Most of the new stock will be distributed by PlayStation Direct, with PS Plus members getting two days of early access to secure pre-orders in many regions. If you want to secure a controller and you aren’t a member, it might be a good idea to sign up so you can jump the queue.
The price point for the controller has not been confirmed for the next wave of stock, though it’s likely to remain at the $79.99 price from the original drop—which is significantly lower than resellers have been demanding for the controller on places like Ebay and Amazon.
