Fantastic Four Fortnite Leaks Reveal Skin Details

Epic Games has returned from its annual summer break, and a fresh Fortnite update is coming today, with leaks indicating that the Fantastic Four are coming soon.

Marvel’s first family are set to grace the silver screen this month with The Fantastic Four: First Steps, bringing the beloved characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time, and it appears that they will be joining the Fortnite family.

Prominent leakers, including ShiinaBR, have uncovered strings within Fortnite indicating the arrival of the Fantastic Four, with skins set to be available for each character.

The four skins will come alongside four additional cosmetics, the Fantastic Fists for The Thing, Fantastic Calculations for Mr Fantastic, Psionic Orbs for Susan Storm, and Torch’s Flame for the Human Torch. While they can be equipped with any skin, there will be unique animations and styles when assigned to their respective Fantastic Four skin.

It’s not too much of a surprise to see the Fantastic Four coming to Fortnite given Marvel and Disney’s continued partnership with Epic Games, and, technically, it’s not the first time that the Fantastic Four will feature in the game.

During Chapter 5, Season 4 last year, the Fantastic Four’s arch-nemesis Doctor Doom was the main villain and appeared to have quelled a version of the superhero team, with Mister Fantastic appearing stuck as a ball form in his trophy room, while Doom’s throne was seemingly made out of the Thing’s rocks.

Whether those appearances will be clarified in a future update remains to be seen, but there’s no shortage of explanations given Marvel’s foray into the Multiverse—something likely to play a huge part in the new movie, ahead of Avengers Doomsday, due to release next year.
