Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Dev Investigating Disrespectful Guitar Hero Easter Egg

Eagle-eyed players have spotted a disrespectful Guitar Hero easter egg in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake, and the developers are currently investigating the issue.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake, developed by Iron Galaxy Studios and Activision, was released a few days ago, bringing players back to this legendary franchise with brand new skaters, parks, tricks, and much more. However, during this trip down memory lane, some players have spotted a disrespectful Guitar Hero easter egg, which many assume to be Iron Galaxy throwing shade at Neversoft, the original developer of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series. The current developers have disputed this and are investigating the issue.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Dev Will Remove the Disrespectful Guitar Hero Easter Egg

A recent post on the r/THPS subreddit talks about the infamous easter egg in THPS 3 + 4 Remake. If players head to the Waterpark stage, they will spot a copy of a “legally distinct” Guitar Hero in a trash can. If you don’t own a copy of the game, you can check out the screenshot in the post embedded below:

The official IronGalaxyDevTeam account on Reddit has responded to this post, stating they have “the utmost respect for anyone who makes games”. They are currently investigating “how that got in there in the first place” and have thanked the community for bringing it to their attention. Moreover, they will be removing the disrespectful Guitar Hero Easter Egg from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake’s environment art in the next update. Many players have responded, stating they do not want this easter egg to be removed.
