The Kastov 762 is Modern Warfare 4’s version of the AK-47. You know, I know it, everyone knows it. It looks the same, sounds the same, and handles the same, but that’s costly licensing agreements for you! The Kastov is one of the best assault rifles in Modern Warfare 4, whatever it might be called, and that’s because it’s super powerful and capable.
In this guide, we’re taking a look at the Kastov loadout and putting the best attachments possible on it to stabilize it and reduce that pesky recoil, which it has stacks of as a standard weapon. Here’s the best Kastov 762 build in Modern Warfare 4.
Kastov – Best Attachments and Build
The Kastov 762 is a fantastic assault rifle that can be customized nicely to accommodate much healthier long-range combat, because at first, this thing has insane recoil and it rattles all over the place. But this Kastov loadout in Modern Warfare 4 should help with that, improving accuracy and giving you better mobility.
Here are the attachments you’ll want to run with on your Kastov 762 in MW4:
- USENKO 308-1L
- MIRE-50 Tac Grip
- FJX Kastov Grip
- SPETSNAV S10 Stock
- FJX 708 PRO
The optic is arguably the only thing you should consider changing in this Kastov loadout. It’s a subjective thing, and the Kastov has some of the best iron sights in Call of Duty – it always has. If you drop the optic, consider picking up some ammunition that either reduces recoil further or improves damage range.
As it stands, almost every attachment on this Kastov loadout is designed to improve accuracy and cut down recoil, and it does so masterfully.

The perk meta to run with the Kastov is pretty predictable. You’ll want to pick from Ninja (Perk 1) or Quick Fix (Perk 1), Bomb Squad (Perk 2) or Fast Hands (Perk 2), and Battle Hardened (Perk 3) or Blood Rush (Perk 3).
