The HAN 86 is probably the most iconic assault rifle in Modern Warfare 4 because it’s one of the first weapons you get to use in the campaign and the multiplayer portion of the game (and DMZ, actually). It’s a balanced, versatile rifle with a decent rate of fire and good stopping power, and it kind of resembles the KRIG, one of my all-time favorite Call of Duty weapons.
In this guide, we’re taking a closer look at the HAN 86 loadout in Modern Warfare 4 and putting together the best build for recoil control and accuracy over distance. Is the HAN 86 the best AR in Modern Warfare 4? Maybe not, as it’s a ‘starter’ weapon, but with this build, you should do bits.
HAN 86 – Best Attachments and Build
If you want to build a HAN 86 in MW4 that will support you well at mid- to long-range across the best Modern Warfare 4 maps, you’ll want to focus on the attachments that boost accuracy, obviously.
Here are the attachments you’ll want to run with on your HAN 86:
- FTAC Dominion Compensator
- GW DOMI-9 Front Grip
- HANBIT H86 Grip
- MEIKO L9P-FOLD Stock
- FJX 708 PRO
Now, the optic is the attachment I always say is completely optional, but I love the sight picture on the FJX 708 PRO on the HAN 86.
Of course, you can play around with some options here. Folks often prefer switching out something else for a larger magazine if they find themselves running short in fights, or you can pick ammunition that increases damage at range, but this is the best HAN 86 loadout for all-round performance.

In terms of perks, the HAN 86 goes well with the same perks that almost every other weapon uses right now… Ninja (Perk 1) or Quick Fix (Perk 1), Bomb Squad (Perk 2) or Fast Hands (Perk 2), and Battle Hardened (Perk 3) or Blood Rush (Perk 3).
