If there’s a weapon more synonymous with Call of Duty than the M4, I don’t know what it is. This weapon is one of the staples of the entire franchise, and it’s easily one of the best assault rifles in Modern Warfare 4. This gun has been tried and tested for years, and it’s back in this year’s Call of Duty title, and the best M4 loadout is right here.
I’ve put together an M4 build in MW4 that manages to put insanely accurate rounds down over mid- to long range, but it also slays up close, which is perfect if you’re an objective player working the map on something like Hardpoint. If you’re hunting for the best M4 loadout in Modern Warfare 4, you’ve got it.
M4 – Best Attachments and Build
If you want to battle across Modern Warfare 4 with one of the game’s most balanced and capable assault rifles, you’ll want to give the M4 a try. It’s a phenomenal weapon with insane potential, and when used with the right build, it’s unstoppable.
Here are the best attachments for your M4 in Modern Warfare 4:
- FTAC Dominion Compensator
- FSS FIRELINE Grip
- BRACE DX Grip
- PF1 FIXED Stock
- Slimline Elite Optic
As with any other weapons guide, I’ll stress that the optic is fully interchangeable. It’s up to you what kind of optic you run, but I really am a fan of how the Slimline Elite looks. It’s such a clean sight picture and great at everything except the longest range engagements.
If you’re picking perks to pair with the M4, you might as well run with the meta that everyone else is using: Ninja (Perk 1) or Quick Fix (Perk 1), Bomb Squad (Perk 2) or Fast Hands (Perk 2), and Battle Hardened (Perk 3) or Blood Rush (Perk 3).
