When is The Battle Royale Release Date?
Various rumors have suggested that the Battlefield 6 Battle Royale is likely to release sometime after the mainline releases. While there’s no official confirmation or concrete leaks as of yet, it’s believed that the Battle Royale is likely to release in the first couple of months of 2026.
RivaLxfactor’s latest post on X (formerly Twitter) states that he has heard from two sources that Battlefield 6’s battle royale mode “will not only be free to play but won’t come out till months after the base game.” His tweet adds that things are subject to change “between now and then.”
Insider Gaming has also heard, as far back as early 2024, when we first reported on the gamemode, that it will launch separately from the main title.
Battlefield 6 is set to launch on October 10th on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
