EA Confirms Battlefield 6 Release Date On Legal Disclaimers Page

EA has seemingly given away the Battlefield 6 release date in one of the most unconventional ways. After the game’s reveal trailer was released on Thursday morning, the Battlefield 6 legal disclaimers page featured at the end of the trailer appears to confirm earlier reports and leaks of an October 10 or 11 release date.

On the page, EA mentions “Pre-Sell Offers” for the Standard Edition of the game. In the disclaimer text, it specifically mentions that the promotional offer “expires October 10, 2025”. That promotional offer then expires two years after it ends, on October 10, 2027. What the offer is, however, has yet to be revealed as of publishing.

In addition to the release date, EA announced that the full multiplayer reveal for the next game in the franchise will come on July 31. That lines up with earlier Insider Gaming reports on the company’s reveal plans for the game.

It was also confirmed thanks to various store listings that Battlefield 6 won’t be released on last-gen systems or the Nintendo Switch 2. Instead, the game will be available only on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
