Electronic Arts (and all associated studios) has finally released the first major trailer for Battlefield 6, uncovering the game in full and confirming the open beta date for the highly anticipated shooter. It has been months of painstaking patience for fans, who have had nothing more to go on than the many leaks coming out of Battlefield Labs.
The all-new trailer showcased elements of the game’s setting and campaign, uncovering a global story that’s seeing a mercenary group called Pax Armata threaten the free world. We see intense combat sequences, multi-vehicular battles, buildings collapsing, and mass forces joining the fight from around the world.
Battlefield is Back?
Battlefield 6 (which has now been confirmed as the name) is one of the hottest games of the year, where hype is concerned. Electronic Arts has masterfully delivered on the Battlefield Labs testing product, and the content that has leaked from within the test environment has stoked the energy behind this game even further.
As Call of Duty withers under the weight of cheaters, bizarre skin packs, and troubled releases, Battlefield has a real opportunity to get back on top, potentially occupying a spot it hasn’t sat in for more than a decade.
