Assassin’s Creed Shadows title update 1.0.4 will be released tomorrow, introducing a new free quest, a codex update, and other changes. The update will go live on May 6 at 2 pm UTC / 10 am EDT / 7 am PT.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Free Quest
The free Assassin’s Creed Shadows quest featured in this update is called ‘The Works of Luis Frois’, which is playable by Naoe and Yasuke. In this quest, players must bring back some lost notes, protect Lady Satoko and learn more about the Jesuits. Players must complete “The Path He Walks” in Yasuke’s Board before hopping on ‘The Works of Luis Frois. Luis Frois can be found south of the Merchants’ Quarters in Azuchi.
Character Entries Are Coming
The title update 1.0.4 also brings a Codex Update, which adds character entries to the database. Character bios will be available for every ally and foe players interact with across their journey. The update also introduces a whole set of bug fixes, which players can check out in the patch notes.
According to their recently revealed roadmap, the free quest is one of the two updates for Assassin’s Creed Shadows we will receive this month. The next update arrives in late May and introduces new Parkour features, an update to the photo mode, and their first special collaboration.
