I nearly had to adjust my eyeballs when I saw that ‘Marked’ is Season 30 of Apex Legends. Time has flown by since the shooter burst onto the scene, and it’s still so popular now, with the 30th season delivering some big updates—and we have the early patch notes.
Even seven years later, everyone is crowding into Apex Legends lobbies.
Respawn‘s FPS is incredibly popular in 2026, and it’s about to be boosted further by a massive Season 30 update, welcoming ‘Marked.’
Biggest Apex Legends Season 30 Marked Changes

Apex Legends Season 30 Marked makes a big adjustment to Bloodhound, Loba, and Rampart, adds new (and refreshes current) POIs on World’s Edge, adjusts Corrupted weapons, improves looting, and gives a window into Season 31.
There’s a lot to take in here.
Comfortably, the headline-making changes are to three Legends: Bloodhound, Loba, and Rampart.

Bloodhound is receiving the most significant overhaul. But love is being shown to Lova and Rampart, too, with both of them currently in the bottom six of most-used Apex characters, according to Apex Legends Status.
Additionally, World’s Edge has ‘new and updated POIs,’ including ‘aurora borealis glowing in the night sky,’ which looks beautiful from the screenshots and trailers shown off so far.
Finally, new Ranked updates are coming sooner than anticipated and have now been added to the Apex Legends 2026 roadmap.
Early Apex Legends Season 30 Marked Patch Notes

‘THE HUNTER OF LEGENDS – BLOODHOUND’S REWORK
Bloodhound’s kit has been completely overhauled to let you live the true tracker-hunter power fantasy.
Bloodhound’s abilities do the tracking, so you can do the hunting. Their improved Passive causes enemies to leave a glowing trail as they move, while White Ravens have improved range and can now be activated by a quick glance. Bloodhound’s Tactical shows additional “snapshot” scans after the initial scan finishes. Bloodhound’s Ultimate has been completely reworked to deploy a device that cloaks all Legends who enter. While not fully invisible, Legends will remain cloaked for 12 seconds after leaving the Ult’s area, or until taking damage or firing weapons. Boasting all of this and a trio of new Upgrades, Bloodhound equips you to always be the hunter, never the prey.
FRESH HUNTING GROUNDS – WORLD’S EDGE MAP UPDATE
World’s Edge has shifted, bringing old-god aesthetics, new and updated POIs, and aurora borealis glowing in the night sky.
Stalk your prey through 3 new POIs: Bloodhound’s tribe lays claim to Climatizer with East Village’s unique architecture and massive Longhouse. War Camp takes over Survey Camp with a white-knuckle, arena showdown. Tree Settlement springs to life, bringing new vertical movement gameplay to World’s Edge.
Old favorites return! Sorting Factory is back to compete with Fragment for your next drop. Construction stacks re-emerge in Fragment, and Rampart finds new parking for Big Maude on top of Landslide.
Claim your territory, hunter.
NEW CORRUPTED ATTACHMENTS, ENERGY WEAPON OVERHAUL & STREAMLINED LOOTING
Your loadout is the line between predator and prey. Corrupted Attachments introduce new power with a real tradeoff, energy weapons have been completely reworked, and visible weapon stats show how attachments change the performance of each weapon.

We’re streamlining looting to make weapon choice more strategic: we’re removing Support and Assault Bins, Explosive Holds, loot bin resets, wildlife loot, and rebalancing all other loot sources. That means less time perfecting your loadout and more time using it.
THE PACK GROWS STRONGER – MARKED’S LEGENDS
Bloodhound isn’t hunting alone. Loba and Rampart join the pack with fresh buffs.
Loba keeps the squad supplied with an improved Black Market with a reduced cooldown timer. Her Tactical moves faster and covers more ground, giving you a cleaner way out when your prey turns against you.
Rampart can move faster when firing Sheila, supporting the push with more mobile firepower. Her Amped Walls build faster and take more damage.
THE ROAD AHEAD CHECK-IN
We are adding Ranked Updates to Season 31!
Last season, we were thrilled to showcase the addition of a Major Ranked Update to Season 32, but we didn’t want you thinking you had to wait until February to see movement in our most competitive mode, so we’re adding Ranked Updates to the roadmap in Season 31, as well. While we continue to evaluate, test, and tweak throughout Season 30, we’re excited to deliver impactful changes next season and then double down in the following season. We can’t wait to be able to tell you more about what our team has been working on, so stay tuned for more information coming later this season!’
Big thanks to Respawn for the Season 30 update and early patch notes.
