Microsoft made the controversial decision to increase prices for all Xbox Series consoles, accessories, and games. Here is everything you need to know about the new prices and the reasoning behind the announcement.
Nintendo has confirmed that Nintendo Switch 2 games will cost up to $80 in the U.S. The situation is even worse for players in other regions, as physical copies of these games will cost them up to $98. Fans slammed the price hike, but Nintendo blamed inflation as the reason.

When Do Xbox Prices Change?
The price console and accessory changes took effect immediately, starting on May 1.
However, players don’t need to worry about the game price increases until the holiday season. In addition, price increases are taking effect globally, except for headset prices, which are only increasing in the U.S. and Canada.
Why Are Xbox Console Prices Going Up?
Microsoft provided IGN with an official statement explaining the reason behind the price increase.
“We understand that these changes are challenging, and they were made with careful consideration given market conditions and the rising cost of development. Looking ahead, we continue to focus on offering more ways to play more games across any screen and ensuring value for Xbox players.”
Although the prices are controversial, they align with those of our competitors. The Xbox Series X Digital and Nintendo Switch 2 both go for $449.99.
It remains to be seen if Sony will raise prices in response, but PlayStation 5 consoles already cost $449.99.

Nothing wrong with this. Actually make games buy Take Two and deliver on games no woke stuff and good remakes. Everything launch on Game Pass and Game Pass on all platforms.
Hopefully GTA 6 is over 100 this isn’t bad and it’s not Trump we need yo support these developers they need higher pay and need better treatment in the workplace this is how you do it pay the higher prices or your a bigot. Call out the hypocrites who support slave labor but preach tolerance and no bigotry the boomer liars. Manufacturing should be in the US over genocidal bigoted China with slave labor end it! Games being 200 might be the right thing and 1000 for consoles so everyone is properly taken care of and no more toxicity in the industry. Ban games from foreign countries with the slave labor, toxicity, and crunch like Japan, China,Korea, Russia, and Europe.
