All Last Epoch Classes and Masteries

The basis of any good RPG is its class system, where you can tailor your build and playstyle to better optimize your experience well into the end game. Thankfully, the latest ARPG on the market offers plenty of variety. Here are all of the Last Epoch classes and masteries in the game at launch!

All Classes and Masteries in Last Epoch

Unlike many modern ARPGs, Last Epoch features a massive selection of Base Classes, each with three additional Mastery Classes to spec into as you progress through the game. These classes play significantly differently from each other, and the masteries solidify those differences.

The classes in Last Epoch you can choose from include:

  • Sentinel
    • Forge Guard
    • Paladin
    • Void Knight
  • Mage
    • Sorcerer
    • Runemaster
    • Spellblade
  • Acolyte
    • Necromancer
    • Lich
    • Warlock
  • Rogue
    • Falconer
    • Marksman
    • Bladedancer
  • Primalist
    • Shaman
    • Beastmaster
    • Druid

With the release of Last Epoch 1.0, the community receives access to the Necromancer and Falconer, two long-awaited Master Classes for Acolyte and Rogue, respectively.

Which Class Should You Play in Last Epoch?

As you can only choose one class, and the max level in Last Epoch is 100, you’ll spend much time fleshing out a build and defeating mobs, so choose wisely. If I can recommend but one class for you to select, it would be the Acolyte. She offers immense power from an early level, the ability to spawn friendly mobs to help you in combat, and the latest Mastery Class, Necromancer, is one of the strongest and most enticing in the game.

If straight spell-casting isn’t your bag, however, then a backup class to choose is the Sentinel. It’s the standard sword-and-board but with a bit more flare, as you can spec into Void Knight to deal a bit of powerful magic alongside a massive two-handed sword that chops at enemies with wild abandon!
