It seems Alan Ritchson, the star of Prime Video’s Reacher series, could play one of the Helldivers in the upcoming movie.
During CES 2025, Sony announced a live-action movie based on the Helldivers series, a live-action adaptation of Horizon Zero Dawn, and an anime series for Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. Justin Lin, known for his work on the Fast and the Furious franchise, is directing the Helldivers movie.
Alan Ritchson Comes in As Replacement for Jason Momoa in Helldivers Movie
A recent report from Deadline indicates that Sony Pictures and Alan Ritchson are in discussions regarding the Helldivers movie. Although Jason Momoa was initially revealed as a cast member alongside director Justin Lin, he has since departed from the project, while Lin remains on board.
