AION 2 is a free-to-play MMORPG that has been available in South Korea and Taiwan since November 2025, but it will soon launch globally, bringing a massive open-world title to millions of players worldwide.
If you want to get involved with this free game that has been turning heads for many months, you might want to know when you can access AION 2. There’s an early access window available for paying customers, but the full game won’t cost you a penny to get involved.
Below, I’ve detailed the full AION 2 global release times and explained everything you need to know about the Founder’s Pack.
When is AION 2 Coming Out?
AION 2 will be released globally on October 5, landing on PC exclusively at the following times:
- 6 AM PDT
- 9 AM EDT
- 1 PM UTC
- 2 PM BST
- 3 PM CEST
This is when the global AION 2 servers will go live, but it’s worth stressing that things could change. In the run-up to the game’s worldwide release, AION 2 maintenance has already taken place as the servers have faced some strain, even under the relatively light weight of the early access window.
For now, these are the times that are locked in, but maybe check back over the coming weekend to see if anything changes.
AION 2 Founder’s Pack Explained
If you want to get into the AION 2 servers right now, you’ll need to buy the Founder’s Pack. While the base game is free to play, the early access experience comes with an affordable price tag.
The early access window opened at 13:00 UTC on September 30, so at the time of writing, the game was online for those who had paid. It’s worth noting that AION 2 early access ends on October 4, one day before the global launch.
If you want to play AION 2 in early access, the Founder’s Pack, which you can buy on Steam, starts at $24.99. There’s a Deluxe Founder’s Pack that comes with more in-game goodies, which is $49.99, and then there’s a top-tier offering, the Ultimate Founder’s Pack, which is $99.99.

AION 2 Twitch Drops and Promo Codes
AION 2 will be a free-to-play title with an optional premium subscription, which means it’s prime territory for Twitch Drops, promo codes, and other giveaways.

It’s the global launch period, which means special events, in-game giveaways, and other promotions are bound to surface.
