Microsoft has announced its next Xbox Developer Direct event for Thursday, January 18 where it’ll cover a number of games Xbox fans will get to play later this year. What it won’t have, however, are any updates on Activision Blizzard games.
In the announcement of the Developer Direct, Xbox says that Activision Blizzard won’t have any games appear. However, their time is coming.
“Please note that while this show won’t have updates on games from Activision Blizzard, you can look forward to news from those teams later this year,” the company said.
While Activision Blizzard won’t be a part of the Xbox Developer Direct, there are some major games set to get updates. The first Indiana Jones gameplay trailer will be revealed along with new looks at Avowed and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2.
It’s expected that all of the games shown will be released at some point in 2024, including the Indiana Jones game. That wasn’t officially confirmed by Microsoft in its announcement of the event, however.
